Alexandra Robinson

11 Years Old

This year, Alex is in Fifth Grade and has moved from the Lower Campus to the Upper Campus at her school. She is singing a ton, including songs by Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilara, and Adele, and is lead and backup singer for her Taylor Swift rock band.

Alex ran track and cross-country this year, and is looking forward to basketball and soccer. Her favorite book is Love Report. Her birthday was Snack Themed and featured ramen, a boba bar, and endless snacks.

Henry Robinson

9 Years Old

This year, Henry found the bass guitar, which he basically plays all the time. He and his band started out with songs by Green Day and the White Stripes, but pretty quickly moved to Dave Grohl (Nirvana and Foo Fighters) and Metallica, leading to some complicated questions for the grownups. His favorite song to perform is either "Lithium" or "For Whom the Bell Tolls."

In school, Henry is a Third Grader. He enjoys Math and PE. He plays soccer and basketball. For his birthday party this year, Henry had a Pump It Up party where his favorite part was being with his friends.

Clover Lillipup Robinson

Clover Lilllipup Robinson continues to rock her job as the family pet. This year, we discovered how cute she looks dressed up in little doggie clothes. This is something that the whole family loves, except perhaps for Clover.

Will and Lauren

In 2024, Will continued to lead engineering teams at Coinbase. Outside of work, Will has enjoyed spending time jamming with both kids (our family band now has a bass, guitar, and singer), and has completed more than 1 million meters on his rowing machine. He has perfected smashburgers and makes incredible breakfasts on the griddle, and hopes that friends will continue to show up to share a meal!

Lauren continued her work building a a children's literacy app with Magpie Literacy and its sister education R&D organization, AERDF's Reading Reimagined. Lauren loves learning about how children learn to read and figuring out how to navigate the U.S. public school system. Outside of Magpie, Lauren thinks about how technology and AI affects kids, how reading can help, and how AI can help iconic children's characters to get kids to read more.
